The Early Childhood Symposium features the leading child trauma expert, Dr. Bruce Perry. Santa Fe Community College and the LANL Foundation are excited to offer the event which will include the Early Childhood Symposium and Home Visiting Summit. For the Early Childhood Symposium, Dr. Perry will present all day on case studies, brain development, and offer understanding, opportunity and hope to meet challenges of childhood trauma and development. The State Home Visiting Summit will include Dr. Perry as the keynote for the morning and breakout sessions in the afternoon. Registration costs will include parking, light breakfast, and lunch. A room block has been set aside with great rates at the newest hotel in Santa Fe – The Drury Plaza Hotel.

Located a half-mile from the Santa Fe Community Convention Center, The Drury Plaza Hotel offers beautiful surroundings and sophisticated rooms. Take advantage of a special room rate for conference participants — $139 for the night of Sunday, Sept. 15, and $155 for the nights of Monday, Sept. 16 and Tuesday, September 17. Cost includes hotel parking, breakfast and evening reception. Please note: those staying Sunday night could be asked to change rooms for Monday and Tuesday.
